PIX devices not reporting properly, timing out, unexpected results

install Cisco version 7, 0, 0, 12.
create a Cloned VA off the base Cisco (right click on Cisco in the Config Tool/GUI) and select Clone VA.
put the PIX devices (only) in the cloned folder (remove them from the main folder if they exist there as you don't want them in more than one folder).
click on the new folder that contains the PIX devices.
click on the _GlobalVariables tab.
change g_strSNMPVersion to 1.
change g_strProtocol to SNMP.
click SAVE.
stop any running PIX devices via the GUI.
start them back up.
