I checked the debuglog, and i found this:
=======> (STARTING CLOCK TIME): Command authorization failed.
although the user account i'm using can go to enabled mode and can run the command (show run).
do i need a priviliged user account? if yes then I NEED A CONFIRMATION THAT THE SCRIPT WILL NOT MODIFY THE CONFIGURATION.
appreciate a fast response!

if you right click on the device and choose "test connection" via cli, I assume it logs in successfully, yes/no?
what type of device is it?

If you are getting "command authorization failed" you have restricted the commands that can be issued by the userid you are logging in with (aaa authentication). Remove the restriction - or change to an unrestricted userid. None of our commands alter you're environment (the make the screen roll and "show" (display) data). Check that you have the "graph" checkbox set in the PerformanceMetrics tab for each metric you want to see in the OpsMgr Performance Views.

Yes, Gary it logs in successfully all the way to the end (log out).
normal Cisco Switch managed by tacacs (not PIX or loadbalancer).

Hi Logan,
Thanks for the answer, i've read something similar in the script comments i think. I explained this to the cisco admin and he claims he gave me a priviliged account. things started to get better in the debuglog, but it never reaches the end. i've been following the commands in the script and i reached a point when it displays the (show int) command, it starts working smoothly then it suddenly stops (after displaying info about some interfaces and VLANs), the display for the command never finishes and no other subsequent commands are applied.
What could be the problem? can anyone provide me with a list of applied Cisco command (from the script) so that i can make sure they can be executed successfully with no authorization issues?!
Regards,

Ok, now it reaches this command successfully in DebugLog:
CiscoTest:<======= (ENDING CLOCK TIME): *02:54:52.516 GMT Mon Mar 8 1993
(time skew?!?!?!)
but still nothing in Cisco Performance Views, SDK connection test is successful, Insert Performance data test is successful as well.
What now?

Hi again,
I'm using a network admin account (full privileges) now, if i conenct using SSH and apply the command (show int) manually it works to the end, but when i test the script on the same switch with the same usename and check debuglog it works to a certain extent and then stops in the middle of viewing interfaces.
checking the script it says this case means "authorization problem", but the account is full privileged, and the same command that keeps on hanging, does work well when i run it manually!!!
HELP.

If you are hanging in "show int" check to see if you have a Broadcom NIC on the device where QMX is installed. If so, be sure you have the latest firmware loaded on the card. If not, open an incident so an engineer can look at this with you via WebEx (you'll need to provide the Logs sub-directory with the case).

alerting, real time performance, post real-time reporting, any OID (leaf or table), thruput, etc. (refer to the preceding pdf and the "tabs" you see in the solution.
